Experimenting With Fake Etching

I started by etching my picture into a couple of sheets of mirrored card. This was a new design and was completely thought up as I was etching it. In all I made a main printing sheet and also a colour overlay layer.

Here is the print of the main picture. I am happy with how clearly and crisply the image came out, especially the seats and the parallel lines.

 Here is the print of the colour overlay layer, I think this will work really well to add a bit of depth once everything is put together in photoshop.

Here you can see I opened both of the images in Photoshop and began adjusting the levels, hue and other settings before layering it all up and adding a bit of colour.
