This is the section from a page of Brian Biggs' work which I wanted to use because of its relevance to my topic.
I began by sketching out the piece I was copying.
I then proceeded to ink over my sketch using a lightbox.
I scanned the ink copy and then used my usual photoshop wizardry to simply threshold my image and produce another layer for the colour. I also added a bit of the buildings either side by using the brush tool alone which I was quite impressed with and I thing it makes the piece look more set.

And finally I used Photoshop to colour my copy and I think I have succeeded in capturing Brian's style really quite well.
