To gauge my proportions of my cover I printed off a black and white copy of it on standard printer paper so as not to waste too much ink.
I also did the same with the insides of my book and everything seems to be in check here too.
I then proceeded to do a colour version to see if all of the colours look okay when printed out and again everything was spot on with the cover and I am happy for this to go on into my final.
I then printed off my insides again and when it was all printed in colour I noticed some things looked a bit scrappy and others looks a bit plain and boring so I annotated any corrections to make before the final piece.
These two sections of text would look better if they were in type face in my opinion so this shall be changed for the final piece. I just think it will give a bit more diversity and make the piece a bit more interesting. If there are some handwritten sections and typed also, there is more to look at and a reader will be interested for longer.
I was very happy with these two sections so i will not make any changes here.
When looking at the last section of my book I couldn't help but think that it just fizzled out so I will include something a bit more detailed instead of the yokohama advert, possibly the DIY CMYK printing I looked at earlier on in the unit. The Yaris article will be scrapped completely and I will replace it maybe with the yokohama advert but with a bit more text around the advert to turn it into another article.
